Celebrating the new state tax-incentive package and the launch of the Theater-on-Wheels Movie Tour, actors, directors, producers and politicians gathered for a press conference at Fenway Park, home of Fever Pitch, Field of Dreams and others.

The Greater Boston Convention & Visitors Bureau (GBCVB) and the Massachusetts Sports and Entertainment Commission sponsored the July 17, 2006 event.

The Hunt for Filming Locations

With Ben Affleck’s Gone Baby Gone filming just about wrapped up in Boston, we’ll let you in on a little secret for finding the movie’s filming locations.

The magic path…little bright yellow signs around town that read “GBG.” With a crew consisting of hundreds of grips, sound guys and more, getting around Boston can be a challenge. So a crew member set up daily signs guiding other crew members to the filming location of the day.

If you happen to come across one of the scenes during their last days of shooting, please be courteous and do not disturb the filmmakers.
